Vantin is medicine which works killing bacterias in your body. It helps with skin infections, ears infections and respiratory tract infections.
Inform your doctor if you have any of these symptoms:
• an allergic reaction to Vantin
• bleeding problems
• kidney disease
• pregnant or trying to get pregnant
• bowel disease
• other chronic illness
• breast-feeding
You should take this medicine with water during the meal. If you are going to use it on children, consult with your doctor first. Do not overtake it. If you think that you have taken too much of Vantin, call emergency room at once. Do not stop taking your medicine if it is not directed by your doctor.
This drug is only for you. Do not give it to other persons. If you forget your regular dose, try to take it as soon as possible, but do not double doses.
This medicine interacts with:
• diuretics
• antacids
• probenecid
• drugs for stomach acid or ulcer
• sodium bicarbonate
Inform your doctor if you use illegal drugs, drink alcohol or smoke. It will help your doctor to check if it can interact with Vantin. Tell your doctor about all nutritional supplements, non-prescription drugs and dietary supplements. Consult with your doctor if you are going to stop or to start taking these pills.
You should inform your doctor if you are not getting better.
If you have diarrhea, do not treat it with non-prescribed drugs. Contact with your medicine care specialist about it.

Keep your child out of the reach of this medicine. Keep Vantin between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C) tightly closed. Do not use it after the expiration date.
