Sinemet is tablet for treatment Parkinson disease symptoms.

• pregnant or trying to get pregnant
• breast-feeding
• irregular heart beat

• stomach ulcers
You should take pills by mouth melting on your tongue. You should take doses regularly not often than it is directed. Do not overuse it. If you think that you have overtaken it, call emergency room at once.
If you are going to use it on children, consult with your doctor first. Do not share this medicine with other persons. If you forget to take your regular dose, try to take it as soon as possible. But do not double doses if it is time for the next dose.
Next drugs can interact with Sinemet:
• reserpine
• isoniazid
• procarbazine
• MAO Inhibitors
Possible interactions with these drugs:
• drugs for high blood pressure
• iron supplements
• phenytoin
• metoclopramide
• droperidol
• phenytoin
• drugs for depression
• papaverine
It is not full list of possible interactions. Tell your doctor if you use illegal drugs, drink alcohol or smoke. Tell your medicine care specialist about nutritional supplements, non-prescription drugs and dietary supplements. It will help your specialist to check if it can interact with Sinemet. Consult with your medicine specialist if you are going to stop or to start taking these pills.
You should visit your doctor regularly for your progress checks. It can take several months to show some results, so do not stop taking this medicine and do not take other drugs for Parkinson’s disease.
Avoid protein foods during taking this medicine. Talk with your doctor which diet is better during Sinemet course. If you fell dizzy or drowsy, do not use machinery or drive. Because it can increase symptoms. Also avoid drinking alcohol. If you have diabetic disease, check your sugar levels in blood.
It may happen that your urine will change the colour. Check with your doctor if so. If you feel strange, not normal feelings, consult with your doctor too.

• trouble passing urine
• stomach pain
• anxiety
• irregular heartbeat
• hallucinations
• allergic reactions
• mood changes
• uncontrolled movements of parts of your body
Possible side effects, which do not require medical attention:
• muscle twitches
• headache
• vomiting
• unusually tired
• loss of appetite
• nightmares
You should keep your children out of the reach of this medicine. Keep Sinemet between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C) tightly closed.
