Revia is medicine for helping to treat opium narcotic or alcoholic addiction. It can be used as part of recovery program.
Tell your doctor if you have any of these symptoms:
• pregnant or trying to get pregnant
• if you have used alcohol within last 7 days
• kidney disease
• an allergic reaction to Revia
• liver disease
• breast-feeding
You should take Revia by mouth with water. You cannot take this medicine and alcohol or drugs within seven days period. You should keep regular intervals, and do not take more than prescribed.
Do not overtake this medicine. If you think that you have overtaken it, call poison control center at once. Do not give this medicine to other persons.
If you forget your regular dose, try to take as soon as possible, but do not take double doses.

Next pills can interact with Revia:
• thioridazine
• disulfiram
Tell your doctor about all nutritional supplements, non-prescription drugs and dietary supplements. Tell your doctor if you use illegal drugs, drink alcohol or smoke. It will help your doctor to check if it can interact with Revia. Consult with your doctor if you are going to stop or to start taking this medicine.
Do not take Revia and opioid drugs in big quantity. It can lead to coma, overdose and death.
Check your condition with your doctor regularly.
Wear medication card that you are taking Revia pills. Inform every medicine worker who will deal with you that you are taking it.
Possible side effects, inform your doctor at once:
• confusion
• breathing problems
• depressed thoughts
• white bowel movements
• right upper belly pain
• changes in vision
• yellowing of the eyes
• irregular heart beat
• dark urine
• diarrhea
• hallucination
• unusually weak
Possible side effects which do not require medical care:
• aches
• change in sex drive
• feeling anxious
• headache
• loss of appetite
• runny nose
• stomach cramps
• trouble sleeping
Keep your children out of the reach of this medicine. Keep Revia between 68 and 77 degrees F (20 and 25 degrees C) tightly closed. Do not use it after the expiration date.
